Big Ball Machine
FUNCTIONS AND PARTS OF THE BIG BALL MACHINE
Big ball machine allows the user to produce small metal balls of various shapes whose diameter can vary between 6 and 12 mm. These balls are built by using a welded metal tube which can have both smooth or fluted surface. The procedures to load the tube and to unload the small metal balls are automatic ones.
The shape of the balls can be changed by simply replacing the pair of dies while the diameter can be varied by simply replacing the inlet guiding device towards the dies.
The mechanical gears of Big ball machine are driven by means of an electromotor with belt and pulley drive. The belt drive starts both the feeding system of the tube and the system of the dies for the production of the balls.
All mechanical gears of Big ball machine is placed on the top of the machine, and it is supported by a box-like metal working bench enclosing electric fittings, the power electromotor and the automatic lubrication system.
